1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage, session storage and IndexedDB are similar places on your own device where a site can keep information. We use them only for the things listed below.
2. Essential (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and keep your account secure, so they don’t need your consent.

3. Preferences (your choice)
Kept on your device only if you choose “Accept all” or allow preferences in Cookie settings. If you don’t, your theme and language still work but are forgotten when you close the tab.

4. What we don't use
No analytics, advertising, social media tracking pixels or cross-site tracking. Links to Facebook, X, Instagram or WhatsApp are ordinary links: those services only see you if you click through to them.
5. Other services
- Paystack: when you donate, payment happens on Paystack’s secure page, which uses its own cookies under Paystack’s privacy policy.
- OpenStreetMap: some maps used by our field team load map pictures from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address to send them. It doesn’t set cookies.
6. Changing your choice
opens your choices again. You can also delete everything this site has stored in your browser’s settings (for example Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings). Deleting the login cookies logs you out.
